Apex Prime Care, a domiciliary care provider with branches across the South Coast of England, has completed the acquisition of two home care businesses located in West Sussex.
The business has announced the takeover of Care2Connect and Brooker Care, welcoming a team of 86 carers and an additional 1,800 hours of care in the community.
Apex said the two existing branch locations, in East Grinstead and Worthing, will remain where they are, helping to ease the transition for both carers and clients.
Both services are rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.
Apex Prime Care managing director, Malcolm Patrick, commented: “We are thrilled to be taking on two care providers with such deep roots in the community and look forward to bringing an apex level of care to clients, as well as supporting carers to achieve their full potential.”
Colin Young, director of Care2Connect and Brooker Care, added: “After more than 10 years, I’m pleased to be able to hand on the management and operation of Care2Connect and Brooker Care to Apex Prime Care.
“I’m extremely proud of the service we’ve provided to our customers, and know that our professional team of staff, both on the front line and in our offices, will be an asset to Apex.”
Apex Prime Care now has over 35 home care branches and extra care sites across the South Coast.
