Apex Prime Care, a domiciliary care provider operating across the South coast, has announced its expansion into the nursing agency industry.
The company has established Apex Nursing to supply registered nurses and health care assistants to hospitals, and nursing and care homes and follows the acquisition of Essential Nursing in Poole.
The pairing of the two providers, coupled with an increasing demand for complex care in the community, has led to Apex Nursing securing a successful bid for a Health Trust Europe contract.
“As Apex Prime Care grows and evolves, our values very much remain the same: we aim to provide exceptional care to our community and their loved ones,” said Malcolm Patrick, managing director of Apex Prime Care (pictured).
The news comes after Apex announced the acquisition of Smart Care for an undisclosed sum.
The deal will enable the company to deliver an additional 2,000 hours of care each week and take its total number of branches to 26.
It will also allow Apex Prime Care to expand its presence in Surrey and Hampshire through the takeover of Smart Care’s offices in Weybridge, Fleet and Epsom.
