Bluebird Care franchises deliver thank you gifts to recognise NHS vaccine staff

Bluebird Care Vaccine Hamper

A group of Bluebird Care franchises located across Hampshire have delivered hampers to their local COVID-19 vaccine centres to show their appreciation for the staff who work there.

Bluebird Care Alton, Bordon and Liphook; Bluebird Care Andover and Stockbridge; Bluebird Care Petersfield and Havant; and Bluebird Care Winchester, Eastleigh and Romsey delivered the thank you gifts after reporting that 96% of their frontline workers have received both their COVID-19 jabs.

With staff at the NHS vaccine centres working round-the-clock to vaccinate hundreds of people each day, Bluebird Care wanted to send gifts as a token of appreciation for enabling their care workers to receive the jabs so quickly.

Norman Murphy, managing director of Bluebird Care Andover & Stockbridge, said: “The NHS centres have been incredible in rolling out the vaccine to elderly people and frontline care staff, so we wanted to thank them for their amazing efforts to keep our customers and staff safe.”

Andrea Tubby, NHS Vaccination co-ordinator, said: “It’s so important for people (and care workers in particular) to be vaccinated, so it’s extremely reassuring to see so many of Bluebird Care’s team come forward for their vaccines. It’s a pleasure to help protect them and their customers, and we were very grateful for their kind gifts.”
