Care at Home Services acquires Westminster Homecare

Care at Home Services (South East) has completed the acquisition of Westminster Homecare for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 1993, Care at Home is a privately owned family business providing services under several brands, including Care at Home Services, Beech Tree Total Care, Domus Live-In Care, and now Westminster Homecare.

Combined, the Care at Home Services group of companies is one of the top ten largest providers of home care services in the UK, with over 3,700 staff operating from 28 branches delivering home care to the community and also care in 18 extra care facilities.

Commenting on the latest acquisition Deborah McDowell, Chief Executive, Care at Home Services group of companies, said: “We are delighted to welcome new colleagues from Westminster Homecare to our group of companies and look forward to working with them to continue the provision of high quality homecare services.

“This acquisition significantly expands the areas in which we are providing care and we will be continuing to seek opportunities to expand the areas we serve and range of care services we provide.”

Care at Home has also announced the strengthening of its Board of Directors with the appointments of Patrick Carter who will also serve as managing director of Westminster Homecare, and Gareth Taylor as group finance director.
