A housing and care charity has launched a new recruitment initiative to support people who have lost their jobs in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
Brunelcare is offering people the opportunity to join the team with immediate effect, with full, paid-for training that could lead to a permanent role within the charity.
The aim is drive support for the charity’s care and administrations teams across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Somerset.
Brunelcare HR director said: “In these challenging times, we feel it’s our responsibility to help those who are losing their jobs in other sectors.
“This protects our ability to deliver our services safely, to the required standard and to support our existing employees who are working hard in the absence of ill, and self-isolating colleagues. It is a simple win-win.”
Brunelcare will be offering new opportunities on a daily basis, as colleagues begin to self-isolate and more vulnerable employees are sent home on full-ay.
The roles will range from nurses, carers and homemakers, to chefs, community carers and administration duties.
