Care professionals offered free online training on coronavirus prevention


Digital training platform Relias UK is providing free, unlimited access to online courses and other resources to help health and care professionals prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The COVID-19 digital toolkit includes training on infection prevention and control, hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, airborne and transmission-based precautions.

It also includes free, un-gated access to relevant Relias publications, links official guidance from the NHS and World Health Organisation, and other sources of help.

The resources can be accessed through a browser, without the need for software or a log-in, and can be shared with colleagues, family and friends.

Kay Krafft, Incoming CEO of Relias and CEO of the Bertelsmann Education Group said: “During heightened awareness surrounding COVID-19 and the flu season, Relias remains committed to assisting individuals and healthcare personnel worldwide, by providing free unrestricted access to a variety of training classes and other resources.
