Care Roadshows, a series of free regional events designed to inform and inspire care providers, are set to return to major UK cities from next week.
Now in its ninth year, the tour will kick off at Hampden Park Stadium in Glasgow on April 30 with a one-day event offering CPD accredited seminars, interactive workshops and the opportunity to source latest innovations in care.
Speakers at the Glasgow event will include Linda Kemp, team manager for the Care Inspectorate, who will host a session detailing the regulatory body’s latest developments in methodologies for inspection, complaints and registration.
Also speaking, Dr Maggie Ellis, lecturer in Psychology from the University of St Andrews, will provide a presentation on creating connections in advanced dementia through AI.
Following the Glasgow event, Care Roadshows will be held in Liverpool on May 14, in Birmingham on July 2, in Cardiff on November 5 and in London on November 19.
Headline sponsor Quality Compliance Systems will be on-hand at all the roadshows to offer support and advice on the new inspection framework during its speaker session.
Running alongside the seminars and workshops will be a range of exhibitors showcasing their latest products and offering one-to-one support, including apetito, Care Information, Blueleaf and everyLIFE Technologies.
