The managing director of two Caremark branches has received two nominations in this year’s Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWiF) Awards.
Hannah Drury (pictured left), the MD of Caremark Sutton and Caremark Epson, Ewell, Reigate & Bandstead, has been named a finalist in the ‘Woman Franchisee of the Year’ and ‘Young Woman in Franchising of the Year’ categories.
Drury was previously named the winner of the Young Woman in Franchising of the Year award in 2018 and 2019.
Commenting on her latest nomination, Drury said: “I am delighted to once again be a finalist in these categories. I always love the application process as an opportunity to reflect back on all the amazing work we’ve done in the past year, and then to be recognised for that at the awards is a wonderful bonus, franchising has offered me a wonderful career and I truly believe it is an option many young women should consider.”
Meanwhile, the MD’s field care supervisor Elaine Hamilton has been named a finalist in the ‘Franchise Employee of the Year’ category.
“Elaine is the unique combination of someone who has endless care, compassion and love for all those she looks after combined with the strength and leadership skills it takes to manage a large team,” said Drury.
“She is a true asset to our team and we are so proud of her.”
The annual awards are an opportunity to celebrate women right across the UK, from businesses of all ages and sizes operating in the franchising industry, and this year saw a record numbers of entries.
Speaking on the nominees, Caremark Franchise Director, David Glover, said: “On behalf of the Caremark network, I would like to congratulate Hannah and Elaine on this marvelous achievement. This is a testament to all their hard work during unprecedented times and the high quality of care that they provide to those who need it the most, in their local community.”
The national awards are taking place virtually on the evening of Thursday, March 11.
As previously reported, Right at Home has also received four nominations in this year’s awards.
