CarePlanner has come on board to support the newly launched Care Heroes Awards.
Announced this week, the week-long digital event, organised by Home Care Insight and Care Home Professional, replaces the Leaders in Care Awards and will celebrate the achievements of the care heroes of the coronavirus pandemic.
Now CarePlanner, a home care software supplier, has stepped in to sponsor the Home Care Hero (Team) category.
Operations Director Mark Anslow said: “2020 will be looked back on as a defining moment for social care. Defining, in that the sector faced some of its toughest challenges yet. And defining, in that the sector came into the public limelight as never before.
“We are beyond humbled to be able to sponsor this award, and recognise some of the wonderful providers who have worked so hard to keep us and our loved ones safe in this most testing time.”
As part of this year’s revamped format, the awards will focus on the care heroes who have gone above and beyond and who have made enormous sacrifices in order to protect the most vulnerable during lockdown.
As a result we are now asking for your submissions on the six following categories by Friday, October 16.
- Home Care Hero – Individual
