CarePlanner has come on board as the latest sponsor for the 2021 Leaders in Care Awards.

The home care software supplier, which enables providers to easily plan and manage staff rotas, keep timesheets, invoice clients and more, has signed up to sponsor the Home Care Provider of the Year category.

It joins Cool Care, Apetito, Beaucare, NDGAI, Third Age Design and our headline sponsor, Radar Healthcare, in supporting the event.

CarePlanner managing director Matthew Sharp said: “Over the past year home care providers have continued to keep service users supported and connected to their communities despite facing unprecedented challenges.

“Their commitment, skill and humanity through these uncertain times has brought comfort to many and been recognised by too few. We are proud to help celebrate the home care providers nominated for this award, and the sector as a whole, for their incredible work.”

Taking place at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham on October 13, the first night of the Care Show, the Leaders in Care Awards will honour the care sector’s finest examples of best practice, dedication and innovation.

Providers and suppliers have until midnight tonight (September 3) to submit their nominations.

Once the nomination process has closed, the team at Home Care Insight and Care Home Professional will reveal the 2021 finalists and an industry panel will analyse the shortlisted entries to determine the winners.

The event, hosted by social care entrepreneur Neil Eastwood, will start at 7pm with a drinks reception followed by a three-course dinner and the presentation of awards.
