Tech-enabled home care provider Cera has announced the appointment of Jessica Craker as director of People, Brand and Culture.
Craker brings over 15 years’ experience in managing integrated brand and customer strategies within corporate challengers, start-up and hyper growth companies to her new role.
Previously the CMO and executive board director at EdPlace, a revision app for school children, Craker has also held key brand roles at Orbitz and Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
In her new position, Craker will be handling HR, recruitment, brand and marketing processes within Cera.
The appointment comes after Cera announced it is working with the Department of Health and Social Care to use its technology to provide a new recruitment platform, offering tens of thousands of jobs, with the aim to retrain those recently furloughed or made redundant from sectors such as hospitality and alleviate the current pressure on the care sector.
CEO and founder of Cera, Dr Mahiben Maruthappu, said: “With over fifteen years in brand strategy roles across multiple sectors and technology playing a key role in each, Jessica is bringing a significant amount of experience to Cera. She will be focussed on our people and how we can empower them to do what they do best – care.”
