Dementia, Care and Nursing Home Expo has announced the launch of a new conference and exhibition for the home care sector.
The Home Care Expo will run alongside the dementia show at the NEC Birmingham on March 17-18, 2020.
Around 3,000 home care agency businesses owners, directors and managers are expected to attend, along with commissioning directors from local councils, NHS trusts and CCGs.
This year’s Dementia, Care and Nursing Home Expo featured a CPD accredited seminar programme dedicated to growing and creating a sustainable home care industry. Next year will see the launch of the Home Care Expo, an industry specific event featuring over 150 exclusively selected exhibitors and 50 CPD accredited seminars that will shape the future of home care.
Commenting on the event, organisers said: “The home care sector is a true embodiment of what hard work and passion from the workforce can achieve, it has shown incredible resilience in the face of adversity and has continued to emanate positivity by pushing through tough times.
“However, it is time as a country we commit to helping this industry; it is time we give back. This event promises to address fundamental challenges in the industry and dedicates itself to not only enabling the industry to continue to strive to meet demand, but to thrive. This event will inspire a new era of domiciliary care, with the care of service users and the workforce at the heart of everything we do.”
The Home Care Expo will run as part of MediWeek, the UK’s largest healthcare exhibition.
