The Care Virtual Summit will return online next month with a stellar line up of speakers.
Organised by the team behind the Future of Care Conference and Care Roadshows, the third Care Virtual Summit will take place on February 4 from 10am.
Since starting in July 2020, hundreds of care professionals have come together to learn from 36 of the leading experts in the sector, with more 19 speakers joining the community for the February Summit.
They include Professor Martin Green, chief executive at Care England; Vic Rayner, executive director of the National Care Forum; Dr Jane Townson, chief executive at UKHCA; and Dr Donald Macaskill, CEO at Scottish Care.
Back by popular demand, listeners will also hear from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with Head of Inspection Amanda Stride giving a talk on the CQC’s vision for now and the future.
The live summit will include five seminars and four panel discussions focusing on a range of topics, including recruitment, immigration policy, the future of care, inclusion, diversity, wellbeing, activities, best practice, innovation, dementia and Brexit.
The summit will be recorded and available for care professionals to watch in their own time.
Organisers are offering a new ticket system, providing different types of access to the summit’s content. This new feature means the event is suitable for all budgets and preferences, and viewers can pick and choose your favourite sessions to watch, in order to build their own training programme.
A ticket to the summit also includes free printable activity books and exercise session plans for older adults from Oomph!, and discounts on care conferences and books for the sector.
