everyLIFE Technologies, the owner of the care management service PASS, is sponsoring the 2021 virtual Homecare Festival, taking place this week.
The event, which is being held by Scottish Care and concludes tomorrow (June 17), is set to highlight the importance of housing support services and home carers that provide support to older and vulnerable citizens.
everyLIFE is sponsoring today’s programme, which is themed around “Workforce First: the critical role of homecare workforce” to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of home carers before and during the pandemic.
Duncan Campbell, Scottish Lead at everyLIFE Technologies, said: “We are delighted to be attending the Homecare Festival. We recognise that housing support services and home carers make up a vital part of the social care sector which we are very keen to support.
“At everyLIFE Technologies, we are proud to be sponsoring the second day of the festival, Workforce First. Ensuring that those who work within the homecare sector are supported and can carry out their responsibilities safely, efficiently and with the information they need is vitally important.”
The festival will host delegates from within the home care and housing support sector, including those from the NHS, health and social care partnerships, regulatory bodies, the Scottish Government, leading care providers, and researchers and academics.
Owners and managers from locally owned smaller providers will also be attending, along with local authorities and the Scottish Care National Team.
