Home Care Preferred, private domiciliary care service based in London, has set its sights on 200 franchise locations, with a view to grow its network nationwide.
The news follows the launch of the provider’s latest branch in Milton Keynes.
Established in 2012 by Ken Waterhouse, who has more than 32 years’ experience in the retirement sector, Home Care Preferred is looking to deliver quality domicilary care services across the country.
Home Care Preferred, headquarted in Enfield, North London, started franchising in 2017 and now has two franchise branches – one in Barnet and the other in Milton Keynes.
Explaining the company’s ambitions for growth, franchise manager Nav Dhar told Home Care Insight: “We have identified about 200 franchise territories within UK and the vision of Home Care Preferred is to grow the organisation with a network of high quality management franchises in these locations.”
Managing director Ken Waterhouse added: “At Home Care Preferred we recognise that most people would prefer to remain in their own home as they grow older, but at the same time, they want companionship, security, peace of mind and may require a level of care and support.
“Home Care Preferred wants to make care at home a positive choice for all adults who require support at home. By providing highly trained support assistants and offering a flexible approach we believe it is possible for people to remain happily at home.”
The new Milton Keynes branch, which opened earlier this month, is operated by husband and wife team Prince and Irene Asikpo.
Local MP Mark Lancaster, who attended the opening, said: “Having met the team, I am encouraged that they will be able to enhance the levels of care and support for our elderly community, giving them the choice to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.”
