Some of the biggest names in the adult social care sector will gather in London next month to celebrate Professional Care Workers Day.
Event organiser, the National Association of Care and Support Workers (NACAS), has shared an impressive speaker line-up with Home Care Insight that includes senior executives from the United Kingdom Homecare Association (UKHCA), the National Care Forum (NCF), Care England and the National Care Association.
They will share their knowledge on the industry in a series of talks and unite with professional care workers attending the event on September 4.
Commenting on the event, NACAS CEO Karolina Gerlich said: “It will be an event full of talks, workshops and free gifts and treats for care workers. We are aiming to show the appreciation for the workforce and support care workers well-being. We hope that the event will help care workers learn how to look after themselves better.”
Speakers include Jane Townson (pictured), CEO, UKHCA; Neil Eastwood, CEO, Sticky People; Vic Rayner, executive director, NCF; Sophie Coulthard, recruitment specialist and host of the podcast ‘The Road to Outstanding’; Professor Martin Green, CEO, Care England; and Nadra Ahmed, chairman of NCA.
A spokesperson for the CQC will also be in attendance.
Professional Care Workers Day will take place from 10am to 7pm on September 4 at The Human Rights Action Centre in London.
