Blossom Home Care is expanding its services in the North East of England, with the opening of a new branch in Durham.
Liz Clapman, her son Tom and daughter Roberta are the new owners of the franchise territory covering most of County Durham and some areas of Teeside.
Liz previously ran a marketing company in County Durham, which has worked with Blossom Home Care since its launch in 2015.
The team is joined by registered manager Allison Carrel, who has 30 years’ experience working in the home care sector.
On becoming a franchise owner, Liz said: “We believe in what Blossom stands for and the ethos and values behind the care that is delivered that enables the people we care for to remain living in their own home. It’s a holistic approach to care that ensures we fully meet their needs. A 50-minute minimum call also means our carers have time to interact with clients and do all the things that really matter to them and us.”
Roberta commented: “Our registered manager has over 30 years’ care experience and we have a great team of carers to deliver just bloomin’ good care to our clients. The documentation, software and systems that Blossom have provided are extremely thorough and a huge advantage to the business, so we are well positioned to deliver the bloomin’ good care for which Blossom is renowned.”
Blossom Home Care was established by registered nurse Fiona Leggott and her husband John in September 2015.
Headquartered in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, the business has offices in Tadcaster, Teesdale and now Durham.
