Fastroi wins Leeds City Council home care software contract


Finnish software company Fastroi has been selected to provide its real-time care system to Leeds City Council.

The five-year agreement covers the provision of an electronic rostering and monitoring solution for use in the council’s short-term home care reablement service, extra care housing units and mental health transitional housing units.

There are also options to extend the contract subject to positive outcomes.

Leeds City Council is looking to improve the efficiency of its care by better matching the requirements of service users with available staff resources.

“With so much focus on improving the quality of care through CQC inspections and ratings, Fastroi has a proven track record of delivering the improvements that Leeds are looking for,” said Fastroi CEO Risto Jalovaara.

“We are delighted to have been chosen by Leeds City Council. This is the result of two years hard work from our team both in Finland and the UK, preparing to enter the UK market. We now have an office in the United Kingdom and this agreement marks the start of a new chapter in the Fastroi story.”
