Future of Care conference opens in London today


The Future of Care Conference is making its live return in London today (June 22).

Hosted by ITV’s Sameema Ali Khan, the event will take place at the King’s Fund in Marylebone, and is expected to attract dozens care home and home care managers, owners, decision makers and influencers from across the country.

The programme will focus on prevailing trends in care, with focused speaker slots, panel debates and fireside chats set to challenge perspective.

Conference delegates can expect to learn how to build a better future for the care industry, to grow strong connections and discover the latest innovations in the sector.

Speakers include Vic Rayner, CEO of the National Care Forum; Professor Martin Green, CEO of Care England; Kathryn Smith, CEO at Social Care Institute for Excellence; Dr Ben Maruthappu, CEO of Cera; Deborah Alsina, CEO at Independent Age; and Kate Terroni, chief inspector of adult social care at the CQC.

A range of exhibitors will also be located within the networking space, showcasing products that are transforming care.
