A Bright Care franchise based in Glasgow brought together clients, families and carers earlier this month for its first in-person event since the start of the pandemic.
The Summer Concert in the Courtyard event saw the local community enjoy food and drink whilst listening to live music. There was also a performance from a dance troupe and a raffle to raise money for Alzheimer Scotland.
Commenting on the event, Keira Scambler, registered branch manager of Bright Care Glasgow said: “It was wonderful to be able to come together and socialise with our carers and clients in a relaxed, comfortable way, having navigated the pandemic united as one. Special thanks to our team of Bright Carers, without whom the day wouldn’t have been possible.”
Margaret, a Bright Care client, said: “We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a lovely day.”
Bright Care was established in 2009 by Tim and Louise Cocking after being inspired by the successes and failures of a family journey in providing care for an elderly family member.
They believe that with the right foundations and resources in place, every elderly person can live their later years, with peace, security and purpose, in the comfort of their own home.
Bright Care now has six branches in Scotland and two in England.
