A Bluebird Care franchise located in Hampshire has been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission for the second consecutive time.
The high rating means the service is in high demand, with major expansion plans in place that will see the creation of 50 jobs in the Test Valley area and across central Hampshire.
Bluebird Care Andover & Stockbridge became the first home care provider in the Test Valley region to be given the top rating after its first inspection in 2017. The franchise has now retained this status, receiving top marks for being effective, responsive and well-led.
Managing director Norman Murphy said part of the franchise’s success is down to the recruitment and retention of the “very best” care staff from the local area.
“Our outstanding rating reflects our team’s dedication to their local community and it reassures people that we provide only the highest quality home care,” he added.
“The CQC have also recognised that we provide the very best support and training to our team. We’re blessed to have Care Assistants who are passionate about making a real difference to people’s lives.”
The CQC said in its report that care and support provided by the service was tailored to meet people’s individual needs and hade made a positive difference to their lives.
Inspectors also noted that healthcare professionals consistently described the service as providing “very effective care” and the service continued to work collaboratively and seek innovative ways to support people with healthcare needs.
