HAS Technology appoints new MD to support health and social care integration agenda

HAS Technology has announced the appointment of a new managing director in a key step for the business to support health and social care integration.

Jason Harries joins the business, which supports home care providers with predictive care solutions, with over 20 years’ experience in healthcare informatics, having previously been the MD for Telstra Health UK – Dr Foster.

During this time at Telstra, he pivoted the business from primarily working with acute trusts to working across healthcare systems and supporting the wider population health agenda utilising AI and machine learning to support predictive analytics.

HAS Technology said that with Harries’ knowledge, the organisation will be well placed to support integrated care systems that are being developed to help people live healthier lives for longer.

Speaking of his appointment, Harries said: “I’m delighted to be joining HAS Technology at such an exciting time in its evolution. My background in analytics and predictive modelling and experience of the NHS are a perfect strategic fit to take the organisation forward and build on its success. To be leading an organisation that can help Healthcare providers ensure that the right care is given to the right citizen at the right time and ultimately prevent illness is incredibly exciting.”

Jason’s follows a successful year for the group, which saw it named one of the 1,000 companies to inspire Britain’ in 2020 in a report published by the London Stock Exchange Group.
