Home care provider creates 50 new roles to fulfil major contract

Care at Home

A Kilmarnock home care provider is set to create 50 new local jobs to support a major contract it has landed.

HRM Homecare needs to find additional carers to deliver care at home to more than 200 service users.

The business already employs almost 300 staff across Falkirk, Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire, but needs additional resource to fulfil the work it has won in East Dunbartonshire.

Managing director Lynn Laughland told The Kirkintilloch Herald that the business has been expanding to meet demand.

“We deliver holistic person-centred care services that people really want, helping to support their independence and improve their quality of life,” she said.

“Over the last three years, and especially during the pandemic, we have continued to invest in our people, our structure and in ensuring we improve the quality of our services.”

HRM Homecare is one of Scotland’s leading care at home and self-directed support specialists.

It has supported users of care services and their families to live independent lives across Central Scotland for over 25 years.
