Home care software provider OnCare has published a user-friendly guide to help care providers get to grips with going digital.
The guide, published on OnCare’s website, aims to take away the stress and confusion of going paperless by helping agencies understand exactly how domiciliary software works to improve their services.
It also lists the features that agencies can expect from leading software providers so they can make an informed decision.
OnCare CEO Alistair Cohen told Home Care Insight: “We realised that moving from paper to a digital system can be daunting and confusing for many of our customers, so we wanted to help homecare agency managers to understand the ins and outs of homecare software.
“There are also a lot of choices of different systems out there, so we also wanted to help providers know what software packages can typically do, and to know the right questions to ask when receiving a demo from a software provider. At OnCare we believe in making care easier for everyone, and outside of the software we make, a big part of that is educating the market on different ways of doing things.”
As well as detailing nine common features of home care software, the guide describes the benefits of cloud-based services, including saving money, improved CQC ratings, more client contact time and safeguarding staff and service users.
