Home Instead has been named the UK’s number one franchise business for the fourth time.

The provider, whose network grew to over 240 franchises this year, topped the HSBC Elite Franchise Top 100 league table for 2022.

The ranking is based on a number of criteria, including support given to franchisees, the scale of the business, financial performance and the contribution made by businesses to the communities in which they operate.

Other home care providers to make the list include Right at Home, Bluebird Care and Caremark, who are positioned in 8th, 12th and 15th place respectively.

Home Instead has topped the Elite Franchise Top 100 list for four out of the five years that it has been published, achieving second position in the 2020 league table.

Commenting on this year’s result, Home Instead CEO Martin Jones (pictured) said: “We are immensely proud to have achieved this, particularly this year.

“Over the past year we have dealt with some of the most challenging times in the home care sector, but our brand never stands still, despite what’s being thrown at us

“To be acknowledged in this way is wonderful. It highlights the immense dedication and passion which everyone shares for caring for our older generation. From our frontline caregivers and our franchise office teams to the 80-strong team at National Office; this is the result of everyone’s hard work and dedication.”

During the last 12 months, Home Instead’s network has continued to innovate with the integration of live-in care and the introduction of clinical services.

It has also partnered with Honor Technology in a bid to revolutionise the care experience for older adults.
