Home Instead Swindon receives ‘outstanding’ CQC rating

Home Instead Senior Care Swindon has been awarded an outstanding rating after impressing inspectors from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Home Instead Senior Care Swindon received an extremely positive report, which included top marks in three out of five areas: caring, well-led and responsive.

The report said the Swindon office, which is owned by Jill and John Kirk and managed by Tracey Morley, showed “overwhelming” evidence of exceptional care being provided by exceedingly caring and passionate staff.

The office is particularly renowned for its work with people living with dementia and sponsors free dementia awareness sessions, free dementia friendly cinema screenings and a monthly dementia friendly café, with several members of the team having become Dementia Friends Champions.

Morley was overjoyed with the CQC verdict and spoke of the importance of providing an exceptional service.

She said: “We are so delighted to have achieved an outstanding rating from the CQC. Our clients are the most important people in the world to us and we will continue strive to provide the best service we possibly can.

“We are 100% committed to providing the highest possible care. And for us that means care that is built around each of our client’s individual needs and the wishes of their families.”
