Homecare Association appoints new marketing director


The Homecare Association has announced the appointment of a new director of Campaigns, Communication and Marketing.

Laura Luckett joins the organisation with experience in a diverse range of communication and marketing disciplines, including communications, PR, media relations, digital marketing, brand development, commercial marketing and stakeholder relationship management.

She has developed her career in both SMEs and larger organisations, including at VT Group, before being hired as head of marketing at The Good Care Group from its inception as a start-up.

During her tenure at The Good Care Group, she developed the marketing function, led the marketing strategy, delivered innovative campaigns and built and enhanced the brand and proposition. 

After this, Luckett moved to the care home sector, where she was responsible for delivering business growth for a portfolio of brands, using effective sales and marketing strategies and positive reputation management. 

More recently she has provided marketing consultancy to Oxford Aunts and Prestige Nursing & Care, delivering strategic rebranding and digital marketing projects. 

Commenting on her appointment, Dr Jane Townson, CEO of the Homecare Association, said: “Laura is passionate about our mission to ensure that homecare is valued so we can all live well at home and flourish within our communities.
