An interactive webinar on assistive technology is being held by Digital Social Care next week.
The session will consider how assistive technology is able to support people with a disability to be independent, pursue their hobbies and have contact with friends or carers.
The team at Sight and Sound Technology, a supplier of specialist tech, training and support for people with disabilities, will guide attendees through real life scenarios focusing on individuals with a range of conditions and requirements.
The event, which will take place via Zoom on May 20 at 3pm, is the second in a series of six sessions which will explore the world of assistive technology. Note that it is not necessary to have attended the first session to attend this session.
A number of care workers, registered managers, activity coordinators, personal assistants and occupational therapists are expected to attend.
The session will end with a Q&A.
