Social care professionals across the UK will today log on to a virtual summit focused on informing and improving the sector.
Organised by the team behind the Future of Care Conference and Care Roadshows, the Care Virtual Summit will host a range of seminars and panel debates in a safe online space.
Speakers from the home care sector include Dr Jane Townson, CEO of United Kingdom Homecare Association; Andy Hogarth, CEO of Helping Hands; and Yvonne Hignell, COO of Cera.
Other big names include Nadra Ahmed, chair of the National Care Association; Martin Green, CEO of Care England; Vic Rayner, executive director of the National Care Forum; Dr Donald Macaskill, CEO of Scottish Care; and Neil Eastwood, CEO of Sticky People and founder of employee referral app Care Friends.
They’ll be discussing a range of topics, from caring for carers and coping during the COVID-19 pandemic, to social care recruitment and the way forward for social care.
