Recruiting and retaining good quality staff remains the one of the biggest challenges for operators. This award recognises recruitment partners and training providers supporting the industry.
We are delighted to announce that the 2019 shortlist includes the following companies:
Bright Selection believes that carefully selected and well-matched candidates provide the foundation of great recruitment and offer the best way to ensure long-term success. This doesn’t happen by chance; Bright Selection’s team of consultants has developed an unrivalled knowledge of employment across the care sector. This, coupled with a broad range of contacts, ensures its clients can achieve their recruitment goals swiftly, diligently and with precision. The care sector depends heavily upon reputation. Bright Selection invests its time in knowing clients’ expectations and in researching candidates not only with the right qualifications and expertise but with an ability to underpin a quality care sector brand. Bright Selection knows the true cost of recruitment is measured by an incumbent’s success and staying power. It is for this reason that long-term relationships are held in such high regard. The recruitment specialist is committed to delivering quality above profit and its team is made up of consultants who behave and act according to its values.
Florence puts a pool of qualified nurses, and now carers, at the fingertips of care and nursing home managers. The manager has the option to add a nurse or carer to a list of ‘favourites’, allowing them to easily select individuals for future shifts which helps to achieve continuity of care. The platform also includes a reviews section, where managers can leave feedback on the nurse or carer – a feature which has proven to foster a greater sense of accountability. The onboarding process consists of two references from either a manager, nurse, midwife or agency representative, as well as a background check, DBS, and full spectrum of mandatory training certificates. The carer is also expected to have at least 1 years’ work history as a carer and to provide proof of indemnity insurance. On average, the compliance process for Florence takes around 20 days, versus three months through a traditional recruitment agency. There are plans to expand countrywide with the carers service in the next 12-months.
