Live-in Care Direct has launched a Christmas gift-giving scheme to support lonely and isolated people over the festive period.

Through its Santa to the Rescue scheme, Live-in Care direct will organise and wrap presents to be distributed to people nationwide.

The Essex-based provider is hoping to deliver 500 gifts by December 20.

“That’s our target, if it’s more then great,” said Live-in Care Direct founder Jason Russell.

“Our campaign has been shared on all social media platforms to reach a vast audience and we already have quite a big list of people that will receive presents from us this year.”

Live-in Care Direct is offering a range of gifts which nominees can select from, including afternoon tea hampers, pamper sets, boxes of chocolates, CDs and record, flowers, prosecco and Amazon vouchers.
