The MP for Rushcliffe in Nottinghamshire has recognised the rapid roll out of COVID-19 vaccinations at Carefound Home Care’s branch in West Bridgford.
Ruth Edwards praised the service for supporting its staff and elderly clients to have the COVID-19 vaccine.
Since the roll out began, over 90% of the company’s staff and 100% of its clients have now been vaccinated in Nottinghamshire.
Ruth Edwards MP said: “I would like to thank everyone at Carefound Home Care for the fantastic work they are doing and the wonderful NHS team and volunteers working so hard across Nottinghamshire to get everyone vaccinated.”
Sarah Richards, registered branch manager at Carefound Home Care in West Bridgford, said: “Our team’s hard work, the one-to-one guidance we have provided and the fact that we’re a locally managed service have all been key to supporting our roll out of Covid-19 vaccinations.”
“However, this would not have been possible without the amazing NHS staff and volunteers delivering the national vaccination programme and we want to say a massive thank you to them.”
Hannah Flynn, a professional carer at Carefound Home Care in West Bridgford, commented: “Having had my Covid-19 vaccination, I feel proud that I am able to do my part in helping protect others as well as myself, and participating towards the step of normality for everyone.”
Carefound Home Care opened the West Bridgford branch last year, creating 50 jobs.
The provider, whose offices in Cheshire and Yorkshire are both rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, is offering visiting hourly and 24-hour live-in care to residents across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
