Southampton-based home care provider Nobilis has completed its largest acquisition to date, marking a year of significant growth.
The business has announced the takeover of Sunshine Homecare, based in Wisbech and covering Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, and Northampton with 3,000 hours of care.
The acquisition is Nobilis’ fourth in as many months, helping increase turnover to more than £20m, a 52% rise on last year. The company is now on track to exceed £30m by the end of year.
Nobilis recently acquired Avida Care in Gloucestershire, Better at Home of the Isle of Wight, and Universal Care in Buckinghamshire.
The rapid expansion brings the total number of Nobilis branches to 13, which between them provide 20,000 hours of care per week from more than 1,000 carers across the business.
Nobilis CEO Peter Harrington said: “Our acquisition of Sunshine Homecare gives us a strong presence in the East of England. This, combined with our recent acquisitions in the South and West of England, cements our commitment to making Nobilis the fastest growing in-home care company in the UK.”
Nobilis is now looking to expand its network in the North of England.
“We expect to make announcements about that in the near future,” said Harrington.
