A new research study for home care workers who have experienced a double-handed home care review is taking place at Northumbria University.

Researchers would like to talk to home care workers who have experience of both single and double-handed home care.

The purpose of the research is to use these experiences, alongside other information, to provide recommendations on how these reviews should be performed in the future.

A researcher would then get in touch with you, provide more information, and give the opportunity to ask questions.

If you then gave consent, the researcher would carry out an interview over the phone or by video link to chat about your experience. This would take around 45 mins.

You would be offered a £25 gift voucher as a thank you.

Researchers at Northumbria University announced in June that they are also testing and developing a range of smart digital technologies to help some of the most vulnerable people in society live more independently.
