November edition of Home Care Insight now available to read online

Magazine news

The latest issue of Home Care Insight magazine is now available to read online in digital format.

This edition of the magazine, which is free to access, shines a spotlight on the winners and highly commended nominees in our Care Heroes Awards 2020.

In a special feature, HCI shares the heart-warming stories of each successful entry and why they were chosen as our winners and finalists. You’ll also hear a word from our sponsors, CarePlanner and My Learning Cloud, about their involvement with the awards.

And the feel-good stories continue throughout the magazine, with news from providers and tech suppliers about how they have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the interview hot seat this month are the co-founders of Radfield Home Care, Dr Hannah MacKechnie and Alex Green. They talk about the resilience of the home care sector throughout the coronavirus crisis, the importance of re-energising care staff as the UK enters a second wave, and supporting the workforce through their Caring for Carers pledge.

We also hear from Skills for Care CEO Oonagh Smyth, who has written a column on where registered managers can go for COVID support, and legal expert Matthew Wort, who examines the legal implications of the recent tribunal that ordered three home care providers to pay staff £100,000 in back pay.
