Nursebuddy offers free services for home care providers in response to COVID-19

Home care software supplier Nursebuddy is offering its full platform for free to help providers tackle the COVID-19 situation.

To help with self-isolation and remote working, Nursebuddy has created ‘Launchpad’, to allow companies to start managing clients and care workers all in one software package, including rota management, risk assessments, medication and eMAR, care planning and staff cover.

The offer is available to small and starter companies that need a software package to become paperless.

Nursebuddy also has a Family Portal, allowing communication and transparency of care about their loved one’s care.

Nursebuddy CEO Simo Hännikkälä said: “Now more than ever, we need to have homecare for those that are vulnerable. Isolation will require more home visits, and helping starter and small companies to have the technology in place to manage their business remotely, and safely, is how we are looking to help people across the UK.”

Nursebuddy is also implementing new features to support home care companies during this coronavirus crisis, making more critical information even easier to access, and improving the safety of clients and care workers during visits.
