Paula Beaney provides leadership to care teams across the UK, ensuring Promedica24 and its staff deliver safe and effective services to the highest standards.
She sets the organisational culture and ensures all employees uphold the Promedica24 ideals of honesty, integrity, transparency, equality, commitment, and respect.
Paula has been the driving force behind the company’s response to Covid-19 and has led campaigns targeted at the media and policymakers. In response to new post-Brexit immigration rules, Promedica24 sent letters to MPs to brief them on the impact that the changes would have on the UK’s social care workforce shortages.
As a result, Nigel Evans, the Second Deputy Speaker, wrote to Priti Patel, the Home Secretary, and expressed his concerns that the new system would lead to workforce shortages and an increase in the cost of care.
In March 2021, the government added senior care workers to the shortage occupation list, making it easier for care providers to employ EU care workers.
