Quality Compliance Systems (QCS) has signed up to sponsor the first annual HCI Power List.

The company, which supports over 100,000 healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care, is sponsoring the Quality and Compliance Champions category, praising home care professionals who refuse to stand still when it comes to driving improvement and promoting a compliant way of working across their businesses.

Philippa Shirtcliffe, Head of Care Quality at QCS, said: “QCS is delighted to sponsor the HCI Power List 2021. It’s been a challenging year for the social care sector, but the courage, dedication and resilience that care workers have demonstrated in abundance has not just touched our hearts, but also those of the nation.

“Sponsoring the Power List is a great honour for QCS. We know there will be hundreds if not thousands of care workers this year who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to deliver outstanding care and also give a lift to all those they care for.”

For more than 10 years, QCS has been supporting care business with a compliance management system that provides fast access to up-to-date policies and procedures.

The platform, crafted by specialists including former CQC inspectors and registered nurses, provides 350 bespoke policies that cover all aspects of compliance; thousands of additional documents, including templates for business planning and guides to employee wellbeing; mock inspection toolkits and risk assessments for operational usage.

Shirtcliffe added: “We are proud to be sponsoring the Quality and Compliance category. As the UK’s leading provider of content, guidance and standards for the social care sector, we understand the compliance challenges faced by providers during the pandemic better than most. At the peak of the crisis, when guidance was changing almost hourly, as we always have been, we were with them on that journey, and gave them the tools they needed to deliver outstanding care.

“Most of all, however, we want to recognise the many hours spent by care professionals to keep the virus under control in their care settings and the vast sacrifices they have made to make that happen. We are passionate about them and are honoured to have the opportunity to recognise their outstanding achievements.”

Quality and Compliance Champions is one of four categories in the 2021 Power List. CarePlanner has pledged its support for Care Innovators and there are still sponsorship opportunities available for the other two categories: Voice of the Industry and Business Executives.
