Radfield Home Care has launched a national campaign centred on offering helpful advice to clients, their loved ones, healthcare professionals and the wider community over the winter months.
The Winter Wisdom campaign will see co-founders, Alex Green and Dr Hannah MacKechnie, along with their franchise partners, producing podcasts, thought leadership pieces and digital brochures that will be made available to local communities.
The campaign is based on monthly themes, kicking off with a topic focused on winter traditions, treats and good food that people should continue to love and enjoy as they become older.
Supporting this theme is Samuel Holmes, owner and director of Radfield Home Care Bexhill, Hastings and Battle.
Holmes said: “As a qualified social worker and with over three years managing a home care service working with clients with varying support and care needs, I truly believe that developing real relationships, meeting friends and maintaining a presence in the community is vital to living your best life. My words of advice and wisdom will be centred on the value of continuing to enjoy what we love most.”
The campaign is inspired by a poem called ‘Winter’, written by Edith Sitwell, an English poet from Yorkshire, who became known for her poetry during World War Two.
The poem reflects the comfort, warmth and safety of a home, and is relevant to the winter months approaching, especially during the pandemic.
Marketing manager Trudie Meredith said: “We are really excited to be launching the first of our national marketing campaigns and delighted that our franchise partners all have a significant part to play in the content of the campaign.
“The campaign will not only provide the marketing tools to reach out to health care professionals, local businesses, support groups and networking activities, but will also add further interest and angles to the service we offer and valuable advice on topical subjects.”
