Radfield Home Care has been shortlisted for a prestigious accolade at the bfa HSBC Franchise Awards.
The family business is hoping to scoop the Emerging Franchisor of the Year award when the winners are announced at the Vox, Birmingham, on June 27.
The company, formerly Radfield Residential Home, ran as a care home for 26 years before being established as Radfield Home Care in March 2008. It then started franchising in 2016.
It specialises in providing care at home services to older people within the private marketplace and now has 13 branches located across England.
Co-founder and qualified GP, Dr Hannah MacKechnie, is delighted that the values-based business model has been recognised as a leading ethical franchise opportunity. “We have always been family owned and those values run throughout the business,” she said.
“We not only provide our clients with a high quality service, we also strive to provide our staff with a rewarding work environment and offer our franchise partners the same high standard of support and guidance. It is an honour to be recognised as one of the bfa’s shortlisted Emerging Franchisors and further supports our mission to provide an ethical and rewarding franchise opportunity.”
Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchising Association (bfa), congratulated Radfield Home Care.
“Radfield Home Care does a lot for the community, helping vulnerable people and building relationships. The franchisor also give full support to its network of franchisees, and the company is fully deserving of its place on the shortlist,” he said.
