Radis, a provider of community-based social care, has strengthened its management team with the appointment of a new head of nursing.
Nicola Dale, who has experience in complex care and nursing practice, will be responsible for overseeing and developing complex care services.
These services will offer clients clinical care within their own homes, under the supervision of qualified nurses.
Radis, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is one of the largest care providers in the UK, employing over 2,000 employees and operating more than 50 service locations across England and Wales.
Nicola Dale, head of Nursing, said: “My journey to joining Radis started 30 years ago when I commenced my training to become a Registered Nurse. I am qualified in both Adult Nursing and Children’s Nursing and spent many years working as a nurse for both adults and children, before leaving the NHS to pursue roles as a Clinical Auditor and Quality Manager within the private healthcare and adult social care sectors.
“I am really pleased to be back in a role where I can use my nursing qualifications and experience to make a positive difference to the lives of children and adults with a wide range of complex health conditions.”
Paula Hoggarth, group operations director for Radis Community Care, added: “We’re thrilled to see Nicola in this new role as part of the management team.
“Nicola brings with her a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective and lots of ideas for developing our services so that we can make a positive difference to the lives of many more people.”
