Right at Home has been awarded national 5 Star Employer status across its network of 59 offices.
The care provider was given the title following its annual employee engagement survey, run by independent researcher WorkBuzz.
The survey revealed that the majority (98%) of Right at Home’s 1,175 care workers agree that they are clear about what is expected of them in their job; 93% would recommend the provider’s care services; 90% believe they are given enough time to deliver quality care to their clients; and 93% agree they have access to the training they need to do their job.
Most (92%) care workers said they would rate the initial training they received as ‘good’ or ‘excellent’; 91% said they are proud to work at Right at Home; and 91% believe their job gives them the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
Commenting on the recognition, Right at Home UK CEO Ken Deary, said: “We look after our staff in the same way as they look after our Clients and this is reflected in the results of our survey.
“We know our staff are our most important asset and without them, we couldn’t do what we do. We therefore commit to carrying out the WorkBuzz surveys year-on-year, in order to strive for continuous improvement.”

In another nod to the company as an employer of choice, Right at Home is shortlisted for the Leadership and Culture accolade at the highly coveted bfa HSBC Franchise Awards which take place at the Vox, Birmingham in June.
