The nomination deadline for the Leaders in Care Awards is looming – and we’re calling on the industry to submit entries and recommendations over the next two weeks.
One of the categories set to be most hotly-contested is the Innovation in Care Award.
Innovation is a key ingredient of outstanding care. Providers are often praised by service-users and regulators for coming up with creative ways to reduce risk, improve operation efficiency and most importantly, improve outcomes for individuals.
Examples of innovation in care could include projects that tackle isolation, reduce hospital stays and improve clients’ independence.
Providers recognised in this category are those that refuse to rest on the laurels and pursue constant improvement through having the courage to take risks, try something new and learn from their mistakes.
So if you are an innovative and creative care provider – or you know of one that is – please email firstname.lastname@example.org or submit an official nomination form, which you can download HERE.
The Leaders in Care Awards take place on October 9, the first night of the Care Show, at the Birmingham Metropole.
