Belmont Healthcare Group has invested in the development and rollout of a new home care service.

The Solihull-based care provider, which currently operates specialist elderly and dementia care homes in East Sussex and Kent, said Belmont@Home will offer a bespoke service, tailored to the needs of the customer.

Jennie Coy, an experienced carer and manager, will head up the new business. She said: “I am really proud to have launched a bespoke home care business out of the already established residential elderly care business. It’s a really positive move, especially as we gradually come out of lockdown, where we can offer our expertise and a helping hand to those that would rather retain the familiar feature of their own front door.

“We’re already picking up our recruitment drive and very much looking forward to spreading the word of good care where time, attention, and personalised care isn’t rushed it’s cherished.”

Belmont@Home will offer personal care, help with admin and housekeeping, as well as specialised support to people living with dementia, Parkinson’s or cancer.

The news comes after Scarborough-based Saint Cecilia’s, another major care provider, also announced its expansion into home care.
