Somerset Care has announced that all of its 32 services, including home care, care homes and learning disabilities services, have been rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.
The milestone was reached following the awarding of a ‘Good’ rating to its Portcullis House care home in Langport in March.
Sarah Hicks, director of Operations said: “We are incredibly proud to have achieved 100% compliance across all our services. Quality is paramount in all that we do within the Somerset Care Group; to have this reflected by CQC is an amazing feat. This achievement truly recognises the commitment our dedicated staff have to making a difference to the lives of the people we support.”
The Somerset Care Group is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing high quality care and support to people across the South West since 1991.
The group operates 26 care homes, a respite centre and supports people living in their own homes and supported living settings.
