The Fremantle Trust appoints head of Care and Clinical Governance

The Fremantle Trust, a provider of dementia care, supported living and residential services, has appointed Krista Brewer as head of Care and Clinical Governance.

With more than 21 years of experience within the NHS, Brewer is a registered general nurse whose track record spans a range of social care settings.

Most recently, she worked for the Clinical Commissioning Group in Buckinghamshire overseeing adult safeguarding.

Commenting on her appointment, Brewer said: “This is an exciting opportunity to translate my clinical experience to a role within health and social care, by providing strategic support and development opportunities to teams across the Trust.”

The Fremantle Trust said the appointment reiterates the its commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring the wellbeing of adults in its care is met by the delivery of safe, compassionate and high quality care.

As a member of the leadership team, Brewer will develop and support clinical professionals and care teams across the Trust’s older people and learning disability services.

Chief executive of The Fremantle Trust, Sara Livadeas, added: “I’m really looking forward to working with Krista. She will help us to improve the quality of care for everyone and provide leadership to the nurse workforce in particular.”
