Prestige Nursing + Care, a private nursing care and support care businesses, has appointed Belinda Berkeley as managing director.
Berkeley (pictured) joins the business from The Good Care Group, where she was managing director. She replaces Jonathan Bruce, who has been appointed as CEO of Sodexo UK Homecare.
French hospitality group Sodexo, the owner of Prestige Nursing + Care, acquired The Good Care Group in April and formed Sodexo UK Homecare.
As part of her role, Berkeley will be responsible for the future direction of the organisation, including Elite Care Scotland.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: “Prestige Nursing + Care and Elite both have long-established and well respected reputations in the UK. I am delighted to continue the great work of Jonathan Bruce and his family, who founded and built the company.
“I am passionate about delivering high quality services and seeking ways to continually improve what we do, making a difference to the lives of the people we care for. The care sector can be challenging and to deliver a great service to clients, we need to value and support our staff in the best way we can. Our aim is to make Prestige Nursing + Care and Elite a supportive and rewarding place to work, offering professional development to all.”
Jonathan Bruce added: “Since the acquisition of The Good Care Group by Sodexo in April, I have been working closely with Belinda. I’m really excited about her future plans for the organisation and am looking forward to continue working with Belinda to support the outstanding work that those working in care provide.”
