Scottish Care has announced the launch of a Homecare Festival that will take place over three days next month.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organisation said it is unable to host its annual Care at Home and Housing Support Conference that was planned for September 25 in Glasgow.
Instead, the Homecare Festival will take place virtually from October 7-9.
Ticket holders will be able to watch various online sessions during the festival that will discuss the future of care at home and current challenges facing the sector.
The festival will focus on three themes: re-shaping home care; maximising the potential of the workforce; and home care & human rights.
The event will be hosted through HopIn with the use of Zoom. Attendees will get the opportunity to explore the ‘Expo’ sector and interact with different exhibitors, as well as listen to exhibitors’ showcases.
Attendees can also make use of the ‘Networking’ space to connect with other attendees and explore future collaborate and share interests.
