Home care reviews site homecare.co.uk has unveiled the top 20 home care groups across the UK for 2023. However, Home Care Insight decided to dive deeper to find out… who are the top five?
The annual Home Care Awards 2023 recognise the top home care groups in the UK based on reviews from service users, clients and their family or friends.
Home Care Insight has studied the Top 20 Large & Mid-size Home Care Groups (4+ Group Members) list further to find out who has the highest Group Review Score (as of 10 August 2023 2023, the score can change on the website at any time).
The score is derived from the average of all the review scores of its members with a review score. 75% + members of the group must have a review score before a group review score can be achieved.
Marked out of 10, it’s fair to say the scores were very close indeed.
Top 5 Large & Mid-Size Home Care Groups
5. Platinum Care Solutions Group
With a total score of 9.766, this care provider has four locations based along the West Sussex coastline. Offering day care, end of life care, live-in care, dementia care and everything in between, carefully designed care plans is what sets this provider apart. Professional and ‘simply fantastic’, this group’s carers are described as ‘angels on earth’.
4. Curant Care
With a total score of 9.793, Curant Care has five busy locations across Sussex, Rochester and Maidstone. Receiving only 4 and 5 star reviews, the company’s carers have come to the rescue and “gone above and beyond” to deliver high quality care, with some even managing to help relieve client’s anxiety struggles too. This care provider takes as much as possible into account when matching carers to clients through its ‘screening process’, from looking at experience and knowledge, to hobbies, interests and religion.
3. Right at Home UK
With a total score of 9.800, Right at Home has 73 locations spread across the UK which makes it the biggest home care group to make it to this list. Homecare.co.uk described the company as one of the world’s ‘most trusted’ care companies, and an extensive number of reviews (2961) highlighting the company’s high standard and excellent approach agreed. “Nothing is too much trouble” for this provider.
2. Blue Angel Care
With a total score of 9.824, Blue Angel Care has six locations across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire. Just recently increasing staff wages by 15%, the reviews for this provider have been nothing short of complimentary as clients acknowledge consistently just how happy the carers are. Ensuring clients and families can relax is Blue Angel Care’s priority and it’s clear from the reviews highlighting ‘fantastic’ relationships that this is certainly achieved.
1. Belong at Home
And, the winner! With a total score of 9.849, Belong at Home has six locations dotted around the North of England. This company prides itself on having the ‘same friendly faces’ visiting clients every day and has just recently won the Outstanding Dignity and Respect in Dementia Care Award at the National Dementia Care Awards. With a fantastic number of people rating them 5 star, Belong at Home has been a ‘rock’ for clients as they offer nothing short of love to anyone who comes their way.
