Broadcaster and TV presenter Fiona Phillips has been named as the chair of the upcoming Future of Care Conference.
Taking place at the King’s Fund in London on March 3, 2020, the conference will bring together leaders in the care sector for a programme of inspirational talks, panel debates and knowledge sharing.
Hot topics for debate include person-centred systems of social care, fixing the funding challenges, diversity and inclusion, strategies for the future of care, and more.
As chair, Phillips – an ambassador for Age UK, Carers UK and Alzheimer’s Society – will guide the panel debates and facilitate talks.
Confirmed speakers for next year’s event include Professor Martin Green, CEO of Care England; Jeremy Hughes, CEO of Alzheimer’s Society; Kate Terroni, chief inspector for Adult Social Care at the CQC; and Niall Dickson, CEO of the NHS Confederation.
